Rotary awards scholarships

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATAOR Struthers Rotary recently awarded seven William Comstock scholarships to Struthers students who serve the community through activities and organizations that help others. From left are Tom Baringer, Rotary scholarship chairman; and recipients Gary Muntean, Halle Smrek, McKenna Shives, Lindsey Opritza, Alexa Bayus, Olivia Torisk and Sean Guerrieri. The Rotary and the Comstock family have funded these scholarships. Since 1984, Struthers Rotary has awarded more than $80,000 in scholarships.
