Youngstown police arrest man passed out in parking lot

YOUNGSTOWN — Police arrested a man on a warrant after they found him passed out in a car with heavy front damage about 4:05 a.m. Friday in a Mahoning Avenue parking lot.

An officer on patrol spotted a car in the West Side parking lot and found William Nolan, 38, of Youngstown, passed out in the driver’s seat.

Reports said the officer moved over to the passenger’s door and Nolan woke up. He smelled heavily of alcohol, reports said.

A records check showed Nolan had a warrant through municipal court on a charge of driving under suspension. He was taken to Mahoning County jail on the warrant, reports said.
