Juniors go low to qualify at Tam O'Shanter

Twelve players shot in the 70s at Tam O'Shanter on Friday afternoon, but only four earned spots in the Greatest Golfer of the Valley juniors championship.

Nolan Snyder (boys, u-17), Christina Cooper (girls, u-17), Cole Christman (boys, u-14), and Hadley Spielvogel (girls u-14) finished atop their age divisions to qualify in the third of six events.

Snyder, a senior at Western Reserve, had the low round of the day with a 1-under par 71. Cooper and Christman had impressive rounds of 75 and Spielvogel shot 93.

Jacob Wilson had the shot of the day on the par-4 first. He scored a hole-in-one from 275 yards out.
