Block party set Saturday on Youngstown's South Side

YOUNGSTOWN — A block party will be from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday at Boston Avenue and Southern Boulevard.

The event, which features free refreshments and activities for all ages, will kick off the GEARS program, which stands for Generating Energy Activity Recreation Safely.
