Woodrow Wilson Hall of Famers gather

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Woodrow Wilson High School had its first Hall of Fame event on May 25 at the Georgetown in Boardman. More than 300 people attended. Jacquelyn Gawron was honored with the Hall of Fame Award, given posthumously. Recipients of the 2014 Legacy Scholarship are Taylor Minenok, daughter of Wilson alumnus Russell Minenok; and Simone Gant, daughter of Francine Congemi, Wilson alumnus. Attending the banquet, in the front row, from left, were Howdy Friend, Judge Cheryl Waite, Tony Chiarello, Tony D’Apolito, Thomas Constantinovich and Gene Horvath. In the back row are Alex Slezak, son of Victor Slezak; Frank Kreps; Dr. Don DeCenso; Bill Young; the Rev.
