Slovak Ladies invite winners to dinner

The First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association of Beachwood, Ohio, has announced its scholarship program results nationwide.

Area winners are Catholic elementary, $750: Leanne Chandler, Magen Petty and Isabella Rose White; Catholic high school, $1,000: Kyle Bahner, Ryan Gavalier and Jacob Hicks; College, $1,250: Marion Brosko, Brittany Bobovynik, Deanna Demechko, Sarah Gleydura, Logan Kaplan, Alyssa McKula, Samantha Niznik, Kristen Osiniak, Carol Vargo and Joel Zaluski; and College graduate, $1,750: Jessica Joyce, Kathleen Rusbacky and Alexa Suhich.

A $1,000 Katherine L. Sedlacko Family Trust Scholarship was awarded to Emma Romanko, and a $500 Anna S. Granchay District Scholarship was awarded to Gleydura.

Winners and their families will attend the annual scholarship dinner Aug. 24 at Gallery Catering Center, 877 E. Liberty St.
