HBK named fifth for 'Best Employer' award

Hill, Barth & King LLC was named No. 5 on the list for 2014 Best Employers in Ohio by the Ohio Society for Human Resource Management State Council and Best Companies Group.

HBK specializes in a variety of tax, accounting, assurance and business consulting services with locations in Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Florida.

Last week, the firm announced the consolidation of its Youngstown, Boardman and Warren locations to one central location at 6603 Summit Drive in Canfield.

The award comes as the firm’s fifth-consecutive honor and is the seventh time in the past eight years the firm has received this award. Last year, the firm placed 14th.

The selections are conducted through a statewide survey and awards program, which was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in Ohio, according to a press release. The 2014 Best Employers in Ohio list comprises 40 companies.
