The Wolves Club of Youngstown has awarded nine high school students four-year scholarship grants to Youngstown State University in 2014. The event took place May 16 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Youngstown.

The YSU Foundation matches funds raised by the Wolves Club, and this year’s awards totaled $40,000.

Recipients are Austintown, John Boerger; Boardman, Kevin McNally; Poland, Jessica Augustine and Kayle Augustine; Struthers, James Field, Rachel Marchese and Alyssa Zorzi; Ursuline, Joseph Sebest; and Western Reserve, Britnee Grantz.

The club also awarded $3,500 to Mercy College of Ohio, St. Elizabeth Campus. Humility of Mary Health Partners matched these funds to award $7,000 in nursing scholarships to Brooke Bidinotto, Kimberly Budd and Jennifer Prezioso.
