Left End to reunite for YMAs ceremony

YOUNGSTOWN

The inaugural Youngstown Music Awards ceremony will feature a reunion performance by legendary Youngstown band Left End.

The ceremony, which will take place in early December at Rodeo Music Hall in Austintown, will include the announcement of the award winners and a number of musical performances. Voting is underway at ytownmusicawards.com.

Left End was a glam-rock band in the 1970s and early ’80s that flirted with national fame.

The band’s original singer will not be able to perform at the December show, but singers from the area’s top bands will handle the vocals, said Michael Kermec, founder of the YMAs.
