SENIOR CITIZENS


1418 Auxiliary Seniors will meet at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Nicholas Church in the Great Hall on 5th Street in Struthers. John Texter will preside. Cancellations must be made today to Sandy Redeske at 330-755-5192. Any call after today will not be accepted. Birthdays and anniversaries will be acknowledged, and cards and bingo will be played. Illnesses or deaths should be reported to Pat Bozichovich at 330-755-7552.

AARP 4611 East will meet Wednesday at St. Augustine Episcopal Church, 614 Parmalee Ave., Youngstown. The executive board will meet at 11 a.m., and the general meeting will take place at noon. Members should take a covered dish for lunch. Donations for the church and school will be chosen, and there will be a 50-50 raffle. The last payment is due for the August trip. April, May and June birthdays will be acknowledged. Illnesses or deaths should be reported to Evelyn Jenkins at 330-530-2743. There will be no meetings in July and August.

Croatian Pensioners will meet at noon Thursday at Lodge 66 Croatian Center, 3200 Vestal Road, Youngstown. Cards and bingo will be played. There will be a drawing for a free lunch.

Girard OldTimers will meet at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Lamancusa Restaurant on Trumbull Road.

Girard Senior Citizens will meet at 11: 30 a.m. Wednesday at the Eagles, 26 W. Wilson Ave. June birthdays and anniversaries will be acknowledged, 50-50 raffle tickets will be sold, and an attendance prize will be given. Bingo will be played.

Happy Wanderers will meet Friday at the Corner House Christian Church, 6954 Chestnut Ridge Road, Hubbard. A social time will begin at 11 a.m. Everyone should take a sandwich, and those with their last name beginning with A through P are asked take a snack to share at noon. Rachel Bancroft will provide a music program. Hosts will be Florence Paddock, Jim and Ethelene Williams, Dolores Pascale and Wayne and Mila Prill. Greeters will be Rose Ashman, Theresa Knebel, Anna DeLuco and Georgia Bosley. Departure will be at 7a.m. June 26 for the Ohio Amish Country and The Cats Meow Village Tour.
