New support group will meet to share

YOUNGSTOWN

The Joanie Abdu Comprehensive Breast Care Center, 1044 Belmont Ave., is announcing a new group, Joanie’s Sisters in Support Sorority, which will have its first meeting from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the center.

Women affected by breast, ovarian and all gynecological cancers will unite in support, forming a sorority of women moving forward with optimism for life.

The monthly meetings will be educational and will provide fellowship and social activities. Free parking will be available in the Joanie Abdu Center parking lot.
