Alicia Schoonover wins pageant division

Alicia M. Schoonover, daughter of Tina and Greg Schoonover, has been chosen a state finalist in a National American Miss Pageant representing her age group, preteens 10 to 12.

The pageant will take place July 19 and 20 at the Hyatt Regency in Columbus.

NAM pageants encourage girls to be future leaders and teach girls about self-confidence, good attitudes about competition and setting and achieving personal goals.

Alicia’s activities include soccer, dance, young women’s church organization, volleyball, swimming, singing, gymnastics, pageant competitions and giving to the less fortunate.
