Weathersfield Township has Flag Day festival today

Weathersfield Township will have a parade, starting 6 p.m. today on state Route 46, to celebrate its 2014 Flag Day Festival.

State Route 46 will be closed from Ohltown-McDonald Road heading south to Depot Street from 5:45 to 6:30 p.m.

The Weathersfield Township police department asks motorists to avoid traveling this route unless they are attending the festival or are involved in the parade.
