Life In Color tour will come to Covelli

The Life In Color “Unleashed” tour will come to Covelli Centre Aug. 30 for an outdoor show in the arena’s rear parking lot.

The electronic dance music show is a spectacle of high-energy DJs, visuals, cirque-style entertainers and “paint” cannons. Its current tour leg will take it to more than 40 major cities and college campuses worldwide.

The Covelli stop will be a back-to-school bash, and is being promoted in conjunction with Youngstown State University’s Penguin Productions. Gates will open at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. June 24 at all Ticketmaster outlets, ticketmaster.com, by phone at 1-800-745-3000 and at the arena box office.

Early-bird pricing has been set at $33 per ticket.

Life In Color, which bills itself as “the world’s largest paint party,” began in 2006 on college campuses in Florida. The unique event fuses electronic music, art, dance and paint into a frenzied combination.
