Campbell police charge man with drug possession

CAMPBELL

A 40-year-old Youngstown man will appear in Campbell Municipal Court at 9 a.m. Tuesday on charges of possession of drugs, a first-degree misdemeanor, and driving under suspension.

City police stopped William A. Stanley of North Garland Avenue shortly after 4 p.m. Thursday on Lettie Avenue after discovering during a random registration check that Stanley had a suspended driver's license. A search of the car produced a suspected marijuana joint in a cup holder.

Stanley was given a court date, then released on his own recognizance.
