Saturday concert to provide patient visits at St. Jude's, Vanderbilt Children's

YOUNGSTOWN

The R.O.C.c.K. Children’s Choir is having a benefit concert from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church, 210 Wick Ave., to raise money for a bus trip to visit patients at St. Jude’s Research Hospital in Memphis and Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in Nashville. Admission is free, but a free-will offering will be taken.

Compco Industries of Columbiana is providing the bus. The choir is raising funds for lodging and other expenses. Among expected entertainers are the Mandolin Whiskey Band, Ms. Rachell Joy, Patricia Boyer, ROCcK Children’s Choir, Jenah Shank, and Terry and Diane McCabe. A live auction includes autographed items from Duck Dynasty, Nascar and other celebrities.

The ROCcK Choir is also selling embroidered U.S. flags for $15 that can be purchased at Something Unique Flowers on Mahoning Avenue next to Austintown Walmart.
