open arms community outreach Helping those in need

Open Arms Community Outreach is a nonprofit organization that provides personal-care items and clothing to those in need. It has applied for 501(c) status as a nonprofit. It is funded solely by donations of items and monetary contributions.

Hours: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5:30 to 7 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays. Other hours by appointment.

Location: 5111 Market St. Suite 1 B in Boardman.

Personal care items needed: Soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste and toothbrushes, shaving cream, razors, body wash and lotion.

Also needed: Men’s and women’s clothing, nonperishable food items, coats, shoes, hats, gloves, scarves, sleeping bags, blankets, backpacks, socks and underwear.
