Humane Society plans celebration

The Humane Society of Columbiana County will be hosting a reunion and celebration day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Animal Resource Complex, 721 E. Pidgeon Road.

The event commemorates the five-year anniversary of the no-kill, no suffering organization. HSCC is a 501(c)3 nonprofit animal welfare organization run solely on donations.

A Tricks and Games Demo will be presented at 12:30 p.m. by The Learning Dog Training and Enrichment Center. Posing with Pets Photography will also be on site from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for photos, and at 2 p.m. will be a classroom-style photo of all HSCC Alumni. There is no cost for being in the alumni photo.

There will be a basket auction along with games and prizes. Please take much-needed supplies. All Proceeds from this event go to the medical expenses for the more than 100 animals.
