“A Chorus Line,SDRq at Youngstown Playhouse, directed and choreographed by David Jendre. The play will open Sept. 12 and run two weekends. Auditions will take place at 2 p.m. Sunday and 7 p.m. Monday. Call-backs will take place at 7 p.m. Wednesday. The Playhouse is off Glenwood Avenue. Call 330-788-8739. Needed are nine women and 10 men as principals, and three women and four men as swings and off-stage singers. Auditionees will be required to dance as well as prepare a brief vocal selection, preferably in the style of the show. An accompanist will be provided. Those auditioning should wear dance attire (form-fitting clothes or sweats). Readings from the script may also be required.
