API launches oil, gas career website

WASHINGTON — The American Petroleum Institute today launched, www.oilgasworkforce.com, a website that offers information to those interested in what careers, training and certification the natural gas industry has to offer, according to a release issued on the API website.

The new website offers both English and Spanish versions and builds on existing recruiting initiatives by API and companies to reach veterans’ groups, labor unions, African American and Hispanic communities, and colleges and universities.
