A city man was indicted in the U.S. Northern District Court of Ohio on two charges of bank robbery.
Robert Naples, 41, of Poplar Street, is charged with robbing a Huntington bank inside a Giant Eagle in Boardman on April 25 and a Charter One Bank in Girard on April 26.
Court records show he has a hearing scheduled for June 25 in federal court.
The indictments were handed down June 3, according to court records.
He was arrested a short time after the Girard robbery after being spotted at the nearby Jib Jab Hot Dog Shoppe and fleeing toward Interstate 80.
In both robberies, he told employees he had a gun, though no gun ever was seen, reports said.
He asked for all the $50 and $100 bills in Girard and got almost $1,000 in the Boardman robbery, reports said.
He has been held in the Trumbull County jail since his arrest.
