YABTC to have open house at new facility

The Youngstown All Breed Training Club (YABTC) will have an open house and leash cutting ceremony for its new training facility, 13210 Mahoning Ave., from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

The club was formed in 1953 with the purpose of educating dog owners in the care and discipline of their dogs and to provide facilities and opportunities for training. YABTC instructs individuals in dog training at all levels, whether the goal is a household companion or a dog sport competitor.

Saturday’s event will include demonstrations of agility, conformation, obedience, rally, and fly ball, a “Meet the Breeds” event and more.
