St. Nicholas festival opens Wednesday

The 41st annual St. Nicholas Church Festival will take place Wednesday through Sunday.

The festival will open at 6 p.m. each day on the church grounds, 764 Fifth St., and it will close at 10 p.m. Wednesday; 11 p.m. Thursday and Sunday, and at midnight on Friday and Saturday. Admission is $2 for adults, $1 for senior citizens and free for children 12 and under.

Children’s Night on Wednesday will feature discounted ride tickets, while gambling will take place Thursday through Sunday in the St. Nicholas Great Hall.

The Road Work Band will perform Thursday at 7 p.m., followed by the Del Sinchak Band on Friday at 7 p.m., Haymaker on Saturday at 7 p.m. and Power of Praise on Sunday at 6 p.m.
