Allyson Marie Oyster of Alliance and David James DePanicis of Niles are announcing their engagement.

The parents of the bride-elect are Steven and Karen Oyster of Alliance, and the future groom’s parents are Leonard and Rebecca DePanicis of Niles.

The couple will exchange vows at 10:30 a.m. June 28 at an open ceremony at St. Joseph Church in Alliance. Invitations will be extended for a reception at Roby Lee’s in Newton Falls.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Mount Union College, where she earned a degree in piano performance. She is a messenger and abstractor for Geiger Teeple Robinson and McElwee, PLLC in Alliance.

Her fiancé is a graduate of Youngstown State University, where he earned a degree in music education. He is director of bands for Springfield Schools in New Middletown and is choir director for Newton Falls United Methodist Church.
