Western Reserve Port Authority to meet Tuesday

VIENNA

The Western Reserve Port Authority will have its monthly meeting at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport.

The port authority will not have any committee meetings in June. It normally has three committee meetings each month — aviation, economic-development and administration.

The port authority has no chairman because the former chairman, Atty. James Floyd, resigned effective at the end of the board’s last meeting, May 21. Two other recent vacancies also have not been filled.

The county commissioners from Mahoning and Trumbull counties have discussed dissolving the board because of infighting among some of the eight board members.
