Alton Brown coming to State Theater
CLEVELAND
Renowned “foodist” and television personality Alton Brown will bring his “Alton Brown Live! The Edible Inevitable Tour” to the State Theater on Nov. 7 for an 8 p.m. performance. The Food Network star’s show includes comedy, talk-show antics, a multimedia lecture, live music (he sings), food experimentation and puppets.

Kids: Read to rabbits

Some Bunny to Read To is a free, six-week program that gives children in grades K-6 an opportunity to read to registered and certified therapy rabbits for 20-minute sessions. Kids are welcome to bring their favorite book to read to the group’s rabbits — Sara, Cricket, Natalie, Bunbun and Buttons.
The F5RS animal rescue group will host a bunny meet and greet and introduction to the reading program from 2 to 3 p.m. June 19. The program dates for the reading program will be June 26, July 10 and 24, and Aug. 7 and 14. All programs are at Beyond Expectations Speech Therapy, 725 Boardman-Canfield Road, Unit E-1.
