First racino job fair is today

The first of two job fairs for Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course is from noon to 8 p.m. today in the former Fashion Bug location in Austintown Plaza.

Penn National Inc., the company bringing the racino to State Route 46 in Austintown, expects to hire approximately 400 part-time and full-time employees.

There are positions in food and beverage, video lottery terminals, finance and accounting, environmental services, surveillance, racing, count room and more; 65 percent of those jobs are full time with benefits.

The second job fair is scheduled from noon to 8 p.m. June 25 at Stambaugh Auditorium.
