City hall, police station phones working again

YOUNGSTOWN — AT&T completed work on the telephone systems at city hall and the police building, and all phones are working.

The problem was in AT&T’s hardware system located in the basement of city hall.

AT&T and city workers worked on the problem on Friday afternoon, when the phone system stopped working, and a portion of Saturday to fix the issue, said Youngstown Mayor John A. McNally. But the phone system didn’t work this morning. The issue wasn’t resolved until 2:30 p.m. today.
