The board of trustees for Ohio State University has decided to freeze tuition for the second straight year.

The university said Friday that trustees also supported a freeze on mandatory fees.

The approved resolution holds tuition for the 2014-15 school year. That means undergraduate students will pay about $10,037 a year — the same amount charged to those students this past school year. Tuition for out-of-state students will rise by 5 percent.
