YSU students inducted into Who’s Who among college students

Local Youngstown State University students were recently inducted into Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. Founded in 1934, the national program honors outstanding campus leaders annually for their scholastic and community achievements.

The inductees were recognized at YSU’s annual Student Awards Banquet. Inductees from Boardman include Lindsay Basile (senior, Exercise Science), Marra Cercone (senior, Accounting), Leo Daprile (senior, Industrial and Systems Engineering), Estee George (senior, Chemical Engineering), Frank George (senior, Integrated Language Arts Education), Carolyn Jesko (senior, Psychology), Andrea Liguore (senior, Finance), David Macek (senior, Industrial and Systems Engineering), Aubrey Marcolini (junior, Pre Business Marketing), Matthew Melito (junior, English Literature Studies), Brittany Montgomery (master’s, Counseling), Jacob Orwell (junior, Mechanical Engineering), Taylor Phillips (junior, Journalism), Andrew Schumaker (senior, Special Education), Michael Slavens (senior, Electrical Engineering), Samantha Streb (master’s, Counseling) and Kristi Yazvac (senior, Mathematics).
