Youngstown man faces drugs charges after arrest in Campbell
CAMPBELL — City police arrested a 24-year-old Youngstown man on multiple charges — including possession of cocaine and the illegal conveyance of drugs into a detention facility, both felonies — after a Thursday traffic stop.
Alexander K. Henderson of West Scott Street also was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and cited for driving under suspension and for having an open container of alcohol in his car.
Police stopped Henderson shortly after noon after a random registration check revealed he had a suspended driver’s license. He was placed under arrest, and police found 3.4 grams of suspected crack cocaine, a half-empty bottle of alcohol and $318 in cash in his car. At the Campbell Police Department, officers also found a bag containing suspected marijuana in his possession.
