Toney jury continuing deliberations this morning

YOUNGSTOWN-- Jurors in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court are continuing their deliberations in the capital murder case of Aubrey Toney.

Jurors returned this morning to deliberate before Judge Maureen Sweeney after getting the case late Thursday afternoon.

Toney, 33, could face the death penalty if convicted of the death of Thomas Repchic, 74, who was shot to death as he was riding in a car on Southern Boulevard at East Philadelphia Avenue on Sept. 25, 2010, in what police say was a case of mistaken identity.

Repchic's wife Jacqueline was wounded in the same shooting.
