Strawberry festival to take place Sunday

GIRARD

First Presbyterian Church, 890 Church Hill Road, will host a strawberry festival from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday.

Live music will begin at 12:30 p.m. Strawberry shortcake, sloppy joes, barbecued ham sandwiches, chips and beverages will be available.

A raffle of 20 items including baskets and gift certificates will take place. Proceeds will be used to buy school supplies to be given away at the church’s children’s carnival in August.
