Poland junior Kreatsoulas places second in DII discus

Poland junior Nicolette Kreatsoulas placed second in the Division II discus and Maplewood's boys 4x800 relay placed second in Division III in Friday's early events at the state track and field meet in Columbus.

Hubbard junior Matt Jones was fourth in the Division II shot put and Lakeview's Jordan Lowther placed 13th. United's Riley Fillman was sixth in the long jump, Girard's Savannah Teter was eighth in the high jump and teammate Brandi Shonce was 14th in the high jump.

McDonald's boys 4x800 relay placed eighth.
