11 people become new US citizens

YOUNGSTOWN — Eleven people became U.S. citizens in a Thursday naturalization ceremony before Judge James C. Evans of Mahoning County Common Pleas Court.

Their names, countries of origin and hometowns are: Farid Mohamed Taghaboni, Nathalie Karen Taghaboni, and Kiyan Yusef Taghaboni, all Canada, all of Boardman; Reem Jadan Elliayani Alhassani, Jordan, Liberty; Lhassane Salmi, Morocco, Youngstown; Stalin Constantine Aikens, Jamaica, Austintown; Sardar Begum, Pakistan, Boardman; Yangfan Jiang, People’s Republic of China, Boardman; Elmars Zegelnieks, Latvia, Boardman; Yonathan Alebachew Beyene, Ethiopia, Youngstown; Baljeet Singh Grewal, India, Canfield.
