“You Can’t Take It With You,SDRq directed by Tom Smith, Victorian Players, Victorian Players Theatre, 702 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown, auditions 7:30 p.m. Sunday and Monday.

“The Producers,SDRq directed by Tyler Stouffer and choreographed by Joanna Andrei, Salem Community Theater, 490 E. State St., Salem, auditions 6 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday. Actors, singers and dancers 16 and over are being sought for roles including five principal men, one principal woman, six female dancers, four male dancers and an ensemble of 10 to 15 singers to make up cameo roles and ensemble. Prepare 32 bars of a song in the style of the show; an accompanist will be provided. Actors will be notified at the audition if they have a callback, and will be given vocal and script sides to study for their callback. Those auditioning will have the option to audition for just a singer or a singer/dancer. Singer/dancers are urged to wear clothes to move in and bring all of the dance shoes they have, including taps. To be considered for the roles of Leo and Ulla, the actor must do a dance call. Rehearsals will begin June 15. Performances will be Aug. 1-3 and 8-10, with Friday and Saturday shows at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2. Children age 5 to 18 and adults 18 and older are being sought. Auditioners will be asked to read from the script. Rehearsals begin June 16. Performances are July 18-20.
