Youngstown man gets 14-year prison term for robbery

YOUNGSTOWN — A man who helped lure another man to a South Side home with a promise of sex with a woman, but instead, arranged for the victim to be beaten and robbed, has been sentenced to 14 years in prison.

Dymond Ortello, 27, of Brooklyn Avenue, drew the sentence today from Judge John M. Durkin of Mahoning County Common Pleas Court after he pleaded guilty to aggravated robbery, kidnapping, burglary and felonious assault with a firearm specification.

Meghan Brundege, an assistant county prosecutor, called for a 15-year prison term for Ortello, who apologized to the victim.
