FrackFree Mahoning Valley hosts town hall meeting Thursday

YOUNGSTOWN — Frackfree Mahoning Valley will have a public townhall-style meeting regarding the newly “permitted” radioactive waste facility operation located in the city from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at First Unitarian Universalist Church, 1105 Elm St.

This operation permitted by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources plans to accept and process potentially radioactive fracking waste related to shale gas and oil development.

FFM will present information at the session. There will be time for questions and discussion at the meeting.
