Arson fire heavily damages South Side house

YOUNGSTOWN — Reports say a fire set at a vacant 141 E. Delason Ave. home about 9:15 p.m. Tuesday is an arson.

The home was enveloped in flames when firefighters arrived and they set up in a defensive position to protect other homes, reports said.

Damage is listed at $5,900. There were no injuries.
