2 Campbell men arrested on drug charges

CAMPBELL — Police arrested two city residents on multiple drug charges early today after finding suspected marijuana in the car during a traffic stop.

Both Samuel M. Horvath, 19, of Gladstone Street, and Lahsen I. Boukrab, 22, of Memorial Circle, were charged with possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. Boukrab, the driver, also was cited for improperly using his headlight beams and for failing to illuminate his rear license plate. Horvath and Boukrab will answer to those charges at 9 a.m. Friday in Campbell Municipal Court.

Police stopped Boukrab shortly before 1:30 a.m. on Gladstone Street for the traffic offenses. They discovered the suspected marijuana inside the center dashboard vent, and also confiscated $70 in cash.
