Woman's car windows smashed

Police reports say a 41-year-old South Side woman’s car windows were smashed by a man who was one of several people in a procession of cars chasing her early Monday morning.

Police were called to the 200 block of Ellenwood Avenue about 2:10 a.m. for a report of a rolling argument and when they arrived a woman said she was chased home by people in several cars after a person in her SUV said something to another female at a Boardman skating rink.

The woman said one of the cars hit her rear bumper and when she stopped someone got out of that car and smashed her windows, reports said.

Some of the cars that were thought to be involved in the dispute were stopped at Gisbon and Lee avenues, reports said. The woman in the car was told to consult with the prosecutor’s office if she wanted to file charges.
