Austintown police investigate burglary

AUSTINTOWN

A resident found an open window after discovering many items taken from his home.

According to a police report, a home on Atlanta Avenue was burglarized sometime Saturday or early Sunday and reported to authorities at 12:22 p.m. Sunday. A diamond wedding ring, cash, a wallet containing credit cards, a purse and a jewelry box were all taken.

An open window was found as an entry point for the burglar or burglars.
