Ajax Magnethermic Retirees will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Station Square, 4250 Belmont Ave. Guests are welcome.
AARP 4339, Austintown Chapter, will have its last meeting for the summer at 1 p.m. June 10 at the Austintown Senior Center on Westchester Drive. The Men’s Chorus from the Rescue Mission of Mahoning Valley will sing and give testimonials. Cindy Mitchell from the Salem Visiting Nurses will take blood pressures. Refreshments will be served. The Notables Choir Group will not be singing or practicing until after Labor Day. Regular meetings will resume in September.
Mahoning Retired Teachers Association will meet June 11 at Antone’s Banquet Center, 8578 Market St., Boardman. Social hour will begin at 11 a.m. and lunch will be at 11:45. Linda Vuletich will preside. Robert Grau will present the “Inspiring Tale of the Appalachian Trail.” Community service for the month will be donations for the Rescue Mission of gently worn clean clothing, blankets, sheets, towels, socks, underwear and non-perishable food. Local 1199 Retirees will meet at 10 a.m. Monday at the union hall, 310 Church Hill-Hubbard Road, Suite 8.
Lowellville Senior Citizens will meet at noon Friday for its monthly meeting at Lowellville City Hall Conference Room. Ernie Ciarniello will preside. Lunch will be provided by Phyllis Nolfi of Gianna’s Catering. For reservations call Janet Davanzo at 330-793-3176. New members are welcome. Dues of $5 for the year will be accepted. SOAR 27-2 and 27-6, Steelworkers Retirees Local Union 1330 and 1331 will meet at 1 p.m. Monday at Smith Corner’s United Methodist Church, 3000 S. Niles-Canfield Road, Austintown. Refreshments will be served. New members are welcome.
Trumbull Memorial Hospital Retirees will meet at 11:30 a.m. June 9 at Buena Vista Cafe in Warren. Installation of officers will take place and bingo will be played. All TMH retirees are welcome. For reservations call 330-847-7552 by Friday.
