GARDEN CLUBS

WEDNESDAY

Buhl Park needs new members to join in its efforts to keep Buhl Park beautiful. During the summer months members meet weekly to do various gardening projects within the park’s gardens and wooded areas. The club meets every Wednesday evening at 5:30 in the park. Mahoning will meet at noon at the Davis Education and Visitor Center, Kidston Classroom. The program will be Planting a Terrarium (Made Easy) by Marilyn McKinley. Hostesses will be Jo-Ann Kaschak and Connie Bilas.

THURSDAY

Nature Lovers will meet at 12:30 p.m. at Fellows Riverside Gardens to car pool to Carol Knock’s garden by 1 p.m. The address will be provided.

St. Charles will meet at 6 p.m. in the St. Matthew and St. Mark rooms for a picnic and games.

SATURDAY

Austintown Sweetbrier will tour Kreidler Gardens in Homeworth. Hostess will be Erma Adams and cohostess will be Beverly Sharnek. The community project will be Plant the Austintown Library.
