Angels of Easter Seals will host car rivalry

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Angels of Easter Seals is preparing for its pony car rivalry, which will take place June 14, rain or shine, at Austintown Quaker Steak & Lube. Mahoning Valley’s Angels of Easter Seals is sponsoring the pony car rivalry event between Ford Mustang and Chevy Camaro from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 14 at Austintown Quaker Steak & Lube, 5800 Interstate Blvd.
Mustang and Camaro owners are encouraged to display their cars alongside cars from Mahoning Valley Mustang and NorthEastern Ohio Camaro clubs.
The car owners and general public will determine the winners by casting votes at $1 per vote. All the profits will be donated to Angels of Easter Seals.
First, second and third place trophies will be awarded. The Angels of Easter Seals child representative, Hunter Crites, and Quaker Steak and Lube will pick winners. Then the Camaro Club will pick the best Mustang and the Mustang Club will pick the best Camaro.
DJ Big Rick will entertain, and a door prize will be awarded every 15 minutes. There also will be a basket auction and a 50-50 raffle.
