YOUNGSTOWN PLAYHOUSE 3rd-annual Voices of the Valley event features new one-act plays

YOUNGSTOWN

The third-annual Voices of the Valley New One Act Play Festival at Youngstown Playhouse will take place Friday, Saturday and Sunday in the theater’s Moyer Room. It starts at 7:30 p.m. each night.

The three new plays being performed are “By The Book” by Liz Hill and “Hold That Thought” by Michael J. Hill, both directed by Jim Canacci, and “The Crossing” by Stephen L. Sniderman, directed by Bernie Appugliese.

Featured in the casts are Jamie Bucher, Holly Ceci, Mary Dippolito, Barb Evans, Auggie Heschmeyer, Anthony O’Hara and Samuel Joseph Perry.

Voices of the Valley brings together new writers with directors and actors and provides them an opportunity to collaborate on their never-before-produced works.

Tickets are $8 for general admission seating, and reservations can be made by calling the Youngstown Playhouse at 330-788-8739.
