Copper wire stolen from construction site

YOUNGSTOWN

Police reports say about 300 feet of copper insulating wire was taken from an Ohio Works Drive construction site sometime between 6:30 Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

Officers were called to a building site at 1053 Ohio Works Drive about 8:45 a.m. Wednesday, where a supervisor said he discovered the wire gone when he showed up for work.

The value of the wire is almost $2.000, reports said.
