6th annual senior fair is Saturday in Canfield

CANFIELD

The sixth annual Senior Fair will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Emmanuel Community Church, 6512 Kirk Road.

The event will feature live music, bingo, entertainment from the Grotto Clowns and numerous demonstrations.

The Casal Aveda Institute will offer free back and arm/wrist massages. Gift baskets and a 32-inch high-definition TV will be offered as door prizes.

Food and beverages will be served to seniors at the event by Mahoning County Junior Fair Board volunteers.

The event will help educate seniors about area services available to them as well as provide a day of fun at no cost to guests.

The fair also will highlight organizations that directly impact the senior population. First-responder services and emergency response vehicles will be on display. Medical service providers will offer various free medical screenings.

Contributing sponsors are Crossroads Hospice Charitable Foundation, Well Point Foundation (Anthem) and Comfort Keepers.
