Reminder: Mill Creek Park trail closed Thursday for pipe replacement

BOARDMAN — A small portion of Mill Creek Park’s East Golf Hike and Bike Trail near Shields Road and the Shields Road trail entrance will be closed Thursday for a pipe replacement.

The closing is expected to be only for one day, a park spokeswoman said. Parking lots will remain open at the golf course overflow parking area, from which a foot bridge over Mill Creek connects to the trail, and at the U.S. Route 224 entrance to the trail.
