“Sharknado 2” (9 p.m., Syfy): Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water (or take a stroll in Times Square), here comes “Sharknado 2: The Second One.” It’s the fin-tastic sequel to the low budget flick that whipped up a surprise social media storm last summer.

Outdoor concert at band shell

The Packard Band will present “Americana Revisited,” a free concert of classic American tunes, at 7 p.m. Sunday at the South Lawn band shell of Packard Music Hall, 1703 Mahoning Ave. NW. Frank Tracz will be guest conductor, with Richard J. Rollo as guest accompanist on alto saxophone. The concert will be moved to the auditorium if it rains.

Family beach bash at amphitheater

LAKE MILTON

A free family beach party will begin at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Lake Milton State Park amphitheater to celebrate the venue’s 10th anniversary.

The MidLife Crisis Band will perform and there will be birthday cake for children while supply lasts. The event will also include line dancing and food vendors. Guests can also bring a picnic basket and a blanket or lawn chairs. For information, go to lakemiltoninfo.com.

Single tickets for ‘Motown’

Single tickets for “Motown, the Musical” will go on sale at 11 a.m. Friday at playhousesquare.org by calling 216-241-6000 and at the PlayhouseSquare box office, 1519 Euclid Ave., downtown. “Motown, the Musical” will come to the State Theater Oct. 3-19. Photo exhibition opening at the Hoyt

NEW CASTLE, PA.

“Multiple Lenses: New Photography” will open Friday with a reception from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Hoyt Center for the Arts, 124 E. Leasure Ave.

The exhibition features black and white photography by Joel Anderson and Bill Franz, along with a collection of photography by AG Works artists collective. It showcases real-life experiences and struggles of average people.

“Multiple Lenses” will remain on display through Sept. 19.
